Annualized Return Calculator for Options

A 2% return in 30 days and a 2% return in 7 days are very different. Annualizing puts trades with different expirations on the same scale so you can compare them.

The calculator shows simple annualized return (return × 365 ÷ days held) and compounded annualized return ((1 + return) ^ (365 ÷ days) − 1). Compounded figures assume you can repeat the same trade all year, which rarely happens, so treat them as an upper bound.

Results are educational estimates from standard formulas, not investment advice. Live prices, fees and your broker's rules can change the outcome.
